The 7 Lagoons trek is a breathtaking one-day hike located at the foot of the majestic Nevado Ausangate, offering visitors the chance to explore stunning turquoise-green lagoons, part of the Vilcanota Mountain Range. The Pacchanta community, situated at an altitude of 4,200 meters above sea level, serves as the starting point for this incredible journey. It belongs to the Ocongate district in the province of Quispicanchis.

Let yourself be captivated by the shimmering crystal-clear waters of Ausangate. Explore this unique and awe-inspiring destination with us, where adventure meets untouched nature in its purest form.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, perfect for adventurers who want to immerse themselves in the raw beauty of nature, just as it was when the Earth was first created.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. and then travel by tourist transport for approximately 3 hours to the town of Pacchanta. Upon arrival, we will have breakfast before starting our hike.
The trek begins with a gradual ascent until we reach our first lagoon, followed by the rest in succession. The hike lasts approximately 5 hours round trip, during which we will visit lagoons of various colors, characterized by their blue, turquoise, and green hues. Some of them are quite large, resembling natural mirrors that reflect the surrounding landscape.
Along the way, we will also have the chance to spot Andean birds, alpacas, llamas, and vizcachas in their natural habitat.
After completing our trek, we will return to Pacchanta, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch before heading back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:30 p.m..
